Explore the art of relief printmaking! In relief printing, a block is carved, inked, and then printed on paper to transfer the carved image. In this class we will carve linoleum blocks and print an edition, creating a series of prints for you to take home. All materials are included!
If you can imagine a shape, you can probably create it with the push of a button using 3D printing. Intricate patterns, useful gadgets, tools, jigs, and molds are common in 3D printing, only your imagination is the limit with 3D printing!
Casting metal is a 6,000-year-old process still used in manufacturing and fine art. The founder melts metal (usually aluminum, bronze, or cast iron) in a crucible, pours it into a mold, then removes the mold material or the casting once the metal has cooled and solidified. In our classes, beginners learn the safety associated with pouring 1800 degrees of molten metal, how to pack a sand mold, and how to pour liquid metal into the mold.

Cut just about anything with the Wazer water jet. Metal, glass, ceramic, rubber and much more. Waterjets use very high pressure water combined with an abrasive material to cut through many materials other CNC machines cant. Water jets can also cut very high detail compared to a plasma cutter.
