This all-encompassing program covers every introductory badge at Make Santa Fe, giving you the skills to learn every tool in our facility

Fusion360 for Makers

This course introduces you to essential software tools used in modern fabrication. You’ll learn the basics of V-Carve for CNC routing, Lightburn for laser cutting, SolidWorks for 3D modeling, and slicing software for 3D printing.

Art & Sculpture Fabrication

This hands-on series introduces foundational techniques in MIG Welding, Ceramics, Woodworking, 3D Printing, and Laser Cutting.

Sewing for Makers: Machine & Serger Essentials

Create a simple tote bag while learning how to use a standard sewing machine & standard serger machine. You’ll learn when & how to use a serger to join fabrics, practice straight hemming, intro to patterns and more to make a functional bag while learning the basics of sewing.

Woodshop & Woodworking

In this course, makers will begin with un-milled lumber and process it through various wood shop machines to get hands-on experience with multiple tools in the shop, resulting in a mini hat/key/scarf rack to take home with them!

Industrial Sewing Machines

Dive into the world of industrial sewing! In this hands-on course, you’ll create a simple, durable heavy canvas and leather ditty bag while gaining an overview of Industrial Sewing.  You’ll learn on various industrial sewing machines: we have a Juki, Singer walking foot, and SailRite.
