Saymak Power Hammer
Our power hammer is a Saymak SPH-50 50kg hammer. This hammer is helpful in the large-scale or large-quantity production of steel items. Members must take the Power Hammer Badge class and our Introduction to Blacksmithing badge class to use this hammer.
What this reservation includes:
- Use of blacksmithing space (it’s outdoor but covered; dress accordingly). Some other blacksmithing might be using the area and the propane forges; please share to conserve propane.
- Use of anvil(s)
- Use of various blacksmithing tools (tongs, hammers, punches, wrenches, tables, etc.)
- Note: You must bring your own propane!
What this reservation does not include:
- Materials
- Propane!
- Instruction (although we do have staff around to answer questions)
