Kiln Firing Reservation
Free
Members who have taken the ceramic badge class are welcome to reserve kilns for individual or group use.
Make Santa Fe has two reservable kilns. Members can reserve these kilns for individual or group use, or they can wait for a firing in our community kilns.
Information:
- No Electricity or Ventilation Charges
- Firings Must be Scheduled in Advance (1 week is preferable, but check with us)
- Make Santa Fe staff must check the program before the kiln may be started.
Small Reservable Kiln:
- Roughly 12′ x 12′ x 16″
- Capable of Firing up to ^6 (only cone 6 clay is allowed in the clay studio!)
- Outdoor ventilated
- Shelves and furniture are included in the reservation
Large Reservable Kiln
- Roughly 20″ x 18″ x 18″
- Capable of Firing to ^6
- Outdoor ventilated
- Up to 32 steps of ramp and soak cycles
- Shelves and furniture are included in the rental.
