Beginning Knitting

Come and learn the age-old craft of knitting. Learn basic knitting terminology, how to Identify different stitches, how to cast on, the knit stitch, the purl stitch, how to bind off, and how to read simple patterns.  We’ll cover the basic knitting techniques, which, with practice, result in many wonderful scarves, cup cozies, blankets, hats, and more. It really helps to learn knitting IRL with an instructor watching and helping as you practice the techniques.
