Canyon Lloyd

After leaving the US Navy in 2017, I began woodworking at the Northwest School of Wooden Boat Building where I completed a year long course in traditional small craft. I then studied at the Port Townsend School of Woodworking before moving to Boston and completing a 2 year cabinetry and furniture program at America’s oldest trade school, North Bennet Street School.

While studying under Lance Patterson and Dan Faia in Boston, I developed a wide array of skills as well as a love for New England Colonial furniture, particularly from the federal and Queen Anne periods. After completing my military service and education, I returned to my native southwest to continue my career as a professional woodworker.
