Julia Felix

I grew up here in Santa Fe, NM, so if you've been here a long time you've probably seen me around! I worked at CCA all through high school, at the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival during summer breaks in college, and even at Trader Joe's for a couple of years. Music has always been a big part of my life, and after majoring in Studio Art at Carleton College in Minnesota, I found out about violin making and ventured out to Boston to attend a 3 year program in Violin Making and Repair at North Bennet Street School in Boston, MA. I moved back to Santa Fe in 2019 and now work exclusively as a violinmaker from my home on the Southside of town, where I live with my 4 year old son.
