Wire Wrapping – Beginner

March 24th from 1:30 to 3:00pm

Come learn the tactile art of wire wrapping.  Where you will learn techniques to create and embellish everyday objects and give them a bit of magic.  Come make yourself a crown for the Queen/King in all of us.  The possibilities are endless!

What you’ll learn:
Students will cover basic techniques on how to make:

  • Crowns
  • Bracelets
  • Hair Combs
  • Countless other pieces

Please note:
Students are encouraged to bring beads they desire to work with.  Glass, wood, metal, bone, all materials are welcome!

About the instructor:
Patricia Strout is an active participant, teacher, and volunteer at MAKE Santa Fe. She teaches several classes ranging from metal fabrication to jewelry making, and is a devoted advocate of our mission, as a volunteer metal shop coordinator.
