Stoneflower Ceramic 3D Printer
The StoneFlower 4.0 Ceramic 3D Printer expands Make Santa Fe’s ceramics studio into digital fabrication, allowing members to print complex clay forms using extrusion-based ceramic printing. This tool bridges traditional ceramics with contemporary design, enabling everything from functional vessels to sculptural and architectural experiments.
Materials & Clay Bodies
- Clay must be approved for ceramic extrusion
- Pre-mixed clay bodies only (no reclaim or experimental blends)
- Moisture content must be appropriate for extrusion printing
- Members are responsible for loading, unloading, and cleanup during their reservation.
If you are unsure whether your clay is suitable, ask staff before your reservation.
- Printing volume 50x50x50cm (extendable)
- Ram extruder, capacity 1.5L (default), or 2.5L
- Print head 6 or 6R, with durable metal screw, and 9 different nozzles from 0.25 up to 7mm
