The Canon iPF770 Wide Format Printer is Make Santa Fe’s large-format inkjet printer, ideal for high-resolution posters, architectural drawings, technical plans, maps, and design presentations. It supports both full-color prints and precise black-and-white line drawings, making it a critical tool for artists, designers, architects, and fabricators.

Access Requirements

To reserve and use the Canon iPF770, you must:

  • Be a Make Santa Fe member
  • Complete the Creative Printing Badge which covers the wide format printer as well as the vinyl cutter. 

Reservations are for active printing only—please arrive ready to print.

Pricing

Printing fees are based on printed square footage:

  • $3 per square foot — Full color prints
  • $1 per square foot — Line drawings (black & white / minimal ink)

Charges are calculated from the final printed size, not the file canvas size.

Payment is handled through Make Santa Fe’s standard billing process.

Paper & Materials

  • Standard paper sizes and rolls are provided
  • Specialty papers may require staff approval
  • Members are responsible for verifying print size, orientation, and scale

If you need a specific paper type or finish, check with staff before reserving.

File Preparation Guidelines

  • Accepted formats typically include PDF and high-resolution image files
  • Files should be scaled to final print size
  • Line drawings should be clearly identified as such to ensure correct pricing
  • Double-check margins, bleed, and orientation prior to printing

Staff may refuse to print files that are improperly prepared.
