Board Member, Make Santa Fe
Hubert van Hecke is a (mostly retired) particle physicist at Los Alamos, having worked on a series of experiments at CERN and Brookhaven Lab over the past three decades. He has lived in Santa Fe since the mid-80’s. Among other science outreach efforts, he has done a weekly ‘science hour’ at Wood Gormley Elementary for over 30 years. He grew up in the Netherlands, and is a graduate of LSU and Syracuse University, and is a life-long Maker.
