The lathe and the mill are known as The Mother Machines because they can be used to make (almost) any other machine. Make Santa Fe has a small multi-purpose lathe/mill machine tool suitable for working with metal and plastics. If you’re into Kinetic Art or Hot Rods this is the place to start. You’ll learn the names and uses of all (or, at least, many of) the parts of our ShopTask and get some ideas for what you might be able to MAKE with it. This is a 2 day, 4-hour class.

Bring photos, sketches, ideas and your own materials.

This workshop is led by Bricoleur Michael Schippling.

* Registration is required. Space is limited to 4 participants per session.
