Join us at Make Santa Fe for hands-on Build & Test Days leading up to Power Tool Racing! Whether you’re a seasoned fabricator or a first-time builder, these open shop sessions are your chance to design, build, and fine-tune your racing machine with guidance from fellow makers.
We’ll provide workspace, basic materials, tools, and helpful tips—you bring the ideas (and a corded power tool to build on)!
Build Day 1: June 21st, 3pm – 5pm
Build Day 2: June 28th, 3pm – 5pm
Want to test your racer before the big day?
The official Power Tool Racing track will be set up and open for testing starting on July 2nd, three days before the event. Come dial in your performance, test for straight-line dominance, or just make sparks fly. Drop in, plug in, and see what your racer can do under real race conditions.
These sessions are free and open to the public. Come solo or bring a team—and get ready to race!
