









Overview
Ceramics, one of the oldest and most captivating art forms, offers a unique blend of tactile, creative, and meditative experiences. If you want to express yourself, create functional items for your home, or want to explore a new medium, Make’s Ceramics studio is all you’ll need. This class is required for use of the ceramics studio at Make Santa Fe.
What you’ll learn:
- General Clay Studio Safety
- Proper use of ceramics studio tools, including the pottery wheel, slab roller, extruder, and wedging table.
- Glazing and Glaze Room procedures.
- Clay studio policies for storing, drying, and reclaiming clay.
What to bring to this class:
- Close-toe shoes are mandatory!
- Your apron (if you have one.)
- Water bottle & snacks
Please Note:
Students 16 years of age and up can be unaccompanied; ages 12-15 must have a guardian also enrolled in the class. Minors must have parental permission and a signed waiver (ask us).

Cut just about anything with the Wazer water jet. Metal, glass, ceramic, rubber and much more. Waterjets use very high pressure water combined with an abrasive material to cut through many materials other CNC machines cant. Water jets can also cut very high detail compared to a plasma cutter.
