


Overview
This course provides a welcoming entry point into pottery. Through hands-on instruction and guided experimentation, you’ll learn how to shape, form, and refine clay using both wheel throwing and hand-building techniques.
What you’ll learn:
- General Clay Studio Safety
- Proper use of ceramics studio tools, including the pottery wheel, slab roller, extruder, and wedging table.
- Glazing and Glaze Room procedures.
- Clay studio policies for storing, drying, and reclaiming clay.
Please Note:
Students 16 years of age and up can be unaccompanied; ages 12-15 must have a guardian also enrolled in the class. Minors must have parental permission and a signed waiver (ask us).

Waterjet
Cut just about anything with the Wazer water jet. Metal, glass, ceramic, rubber and much more. Waterjets use very high pressure water combined with an abrasive material to cut through many materials other CNC machines cant. Water jets can also cut very high detail compared to a plasma cutter.
