What you will learn:
- Students will learn to make decorated, patterned paste papers with a corn starch and acrylic paint mixture
- How to wrap & adhere the decorative paste paper over bookboard creating the front and back covers
- Create the interior signatures (pages within the book)
- How to use a jig to punch holes in the paper signatures and covers
- Assembly of the book using bookbinding thread with the Japanese side stitch technique.
