Analog Electronics and PCBs

 Curious about how circuits work? This hands-on beginner-friendly workshop introduces the fundamentals of analog electronics and printed circuit boards (PCBs). You’ll learn to identify and use key components like resistors, capacitors, transistors, LEDs, and the versatile 555 timer chip. Through guided instruction, you’ll practice soldering techniques and assemble a simple working circuit, gaining practical skills to bring your own electronic projects to life. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this workshop will give you a solid foundation in analog electronics.

What You Will Learn:

• How to identify and use essential analog components (resistors, capacitors, transistors, LEDs, and the 555 timer chip)
• Basic circuit design principles
• Proper soldering techniques for assembling circuits
• Introduction to working with printed circuit boards (PCBs)

Please Note:

• Students 16 years and older may attend unaccompanied.
• Students ages 12-15 must have a guardian also enrolled in the class. Minors must have parental permission and a signed waiver (ask us for details).
• No prior experience required. All materials provided.
