Introduction to Mead Making
Saturday, June 10, 2023 @ 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the basics of making mead, an ancient alcoholic beverage made from honey. You’ll be introduced to the various types of mead, the equipment needed to make it, and the step-by-step process of creating your batch of mead from scratch. You’ll also learn how to properly sanitize and handle the equipment to ensure a successful fermentation process.
At the end of the class, you’ll take home a small batch of mead to continue the fermentation process and enjoy it at home. Whether you’re a seasoned homebrewer or a beginner, this class is perfect for anyone interested in learning the art of mead-making.
