HACKTIVITY community event
Friday, November 15 @ 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
This Hacktivity began a month ago – tonight should be the conclusion, join us to contribute and/or learn the innovative solutions our fabulous community provide.
Friday Nov 15 from 5-8
We seek help figuring out a strap, webbing, or ? for the final linkage in this hacked anti-gravity chair. Cameron will be able to play piano & keyboard in this hacked portable chair that provides his medically needed neck support!
Volunteer Brains worked together to 3d model and 3d print components & steel tubing that slip-socket into the chair’s tubing. Parts are adjustable. We removed the arm rests and replaced with this hack.
The final frontier is: what’s the final connection that replaces the arm rest linkage? We think it should be soft- webbing perhaps- as it will be under tension from sitting in the chair.

Let’s start the next Hacktivity!
We seek 3D modeling & 3D printing experienced folks to help model a very small plastic component.
Folks with experience 3D printing… will this delicate little thing print well? Is there a better way to re-create it? Let’s discuss options!
It’s a vintage metal cabinet hasp – we’re trying to make a couple dozen of em.
