Fundamentals of Sewing for YOUR Body

Saturday, January 11 @ 10:00 am 1:00 pm

In this class we will explore (and discover) our individual styles and how they express identity. Through group discussion, internal reflection, and ultimately, the creation of a top that you’ll actually wear, we will define the kinds of clothes that make you feel like you.

This class is for anyone who has difficulty finding their size in ready-to-wear clothing, is going through life or body changes, wants to quit fast-fashion, interested in building a sustainable wardrobe, or is just curious about sewing!

After the class, students will have the resources they need to continue sewing, and begin building a custom, handmade wardrobe… and a great top!

*This class meets 3 times on Saturdays in January from 10am-1pm
Jan 11, 18, 25.

You will learn
–  How to read a pattern
–  How to select a size
