August 21 @ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
$80.00
Whether you’re modeling for 3D printing or just want to see what your concept may look like, Fusion 360 is an incredibly powerful CAM (computer-aided modeling) software designed to bring your idea to life!
What you’ll learn –
-different Fusion 360 Licenses
-overview of the user interface
-best practices for modeling
-how to create a parametric model from scratch
-how to design, model, edit, and export for 3D printing
If you wish to use the software, please sign up for a Fusion 360 license prior to attending this class. There are only a limited number of Facility-provided computers. Because of this, we recommend you download Fusion 360 to your personal computer and bring it to use it in class. A mouse with scroll wheel is also highly recommended.
This is a great class to take prior to our 3D Printing or CNC Plasma Cutting class as you will learn how to design your own files to execute.
About the instructor –
Patrick is a woodworker, carpenter, 3D printer, and all-around maker. He learned Fusion 360 to support his 3D printing habit.
